Our Corporate location is looking for an IS Support Specialist to join their team!
The IS Support Specialist is responsible for all aspects of help desk support and technical assistance. Address and resolve a wide variety of user issues, including software problems, hardware failures, and network issues. Active involvement in providing technology solutions to support business needs.
IS Support
- Effectively and efficiently resolve end-user help desk calls received via phone or help desk ticket system
- Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, understanding, and logical troubleshooting
- Accurately document the details of the user request or issue, document the diagnostic steps performed when troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for computers, business software applications, mobile devices, peripherals, and related technology
- Coordinate preparation and installation of new computing equipment as well as upgrading and repairing existing computer equipment
- Install, configure, upgrade computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Repair or replace defective equipment
- Collect outdated equipment for recycling or disposal
- Assist with IS asset management including hardware, software, phones, cell phones and printers
- Train end users in access, security, use, and customization of programs and software
- Engage with various business partners to request services, procure hardware or software, and to assist in troubleshooting issues
- Assist in driving operational efficiency by developing strategies and solutions using technology and software applications to improve workflow in order to fulfill business needs
Customer Service
- Acknowledge, greet, and assist internal/external customers in a timely and professional manner
- Handle telephone and electronic inquiries efficiently and effectively
- Identify the needs and provide the appropriate level of assistance
- Effectively research and resolve complaints and conflicts
Performance Expectations
- Do It Right the First Time - Strive to eliminate errors, prioritize work accuracy, seek opportunities to improve efficiencies
- Excellent attitude and customer service skills
- Must be able to interact and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and customers in a positive and professional manner

- Willing to become a member of a committee/team for current or new programs to ensure their success
- Attendance at Company/store meetings is mandatory
