A Yard Operations Handler is responsible for managing and maintaining the yard area, ensuring efficient operations and safety compliance. Here are the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:

Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Load and unload materials for delivery or pick up using proper equipment and techniques.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring materials are stored properly and securely.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and conduct regular safety checks on equipment.
• Coordination: Work with other team members and management to ensure efficient material flow.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of material movements and yard operations.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Ground Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the yard area, including tasks like snow removal and general upkeep.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience: Previous experience in yard operations or a related field.
• Skills: Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting heavy items.
